Introduction Time!!!


Hey Ya'll!! I suppose that since you are reading this you have made the awesome decision to come to Carson-Newman University for the next four years! Woo Hoo good for you! Seriously though, you have made a good decision. I hope you really enjoy your time hear at college. I am writing this blog to help you feel a little bit more comfortable about coming to college. If this is the first time really being away from your parents like I was then it is definitely an adjustment but it is totally worth it. I will being sharing stuff about my life and experiences so you can see how cool college can really be. 

So....First things first. I will let you know a little bit about me. My name is Courtney Huskey. I was born and raised in East Tennessee. I am from Sevierville Tennessee which people seem to forget about in their hurry to get to Pigeon Forge. But that's ok because we are all right there together. I am currently a sophomore here at Carson-Newman and I am studying Special Education. I will be getting my license in Special Education and also regular education K-6 grade. This is my first year being an Orientation Leader and I am super excited to meet all of ya'll. 

This summer I will attempt to post periodically. Please continue to check out my blog and if you are in my orientation group don't be afraid to shoot me an email.
